Change your display's refresh rate

The 16-inch MacBook Pro has a Retina display with an adjustable refresh rate.

Testing conducted by Apple in October 2020 using preproduction 13-inch MacBook Pro systems with the Apple M1 chip, 8GB of RAM and a 512GB SSD. The Apple TV app movie playback test measures battery life by playing back 1080p HD content with display brightness set to eight clicks from the bottom.

Connect your MacBook Air to other devices. If the cable from your external display, hard drive, or other device doesn't connect to the Thunderbolt 3 (USB-C) ports on your MacBook Air, you might need an adapter.
